Gwyneth Borden began her career on Capitol Hill and has worked in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors and for organizations ranging from IBM to startups to trade associations. Gwyneth has worked in various industries, from IT to hospitality to manufacturing, establishing herself as a thought leader. Gwyneth is the founder and CEO of Remynt, which empowers consumers to rebuild their credit while resolving debt. Remynt was built on her personal experience with misaligned incentives in debt collection. With Remynt, Gwyneth has achieved numerous recognitions, being named an SVB Luminary Fellow, winning Money2020 America's Got Access Pitch Competition (2022) and Visa Everywhere Black Edition (2023), being named the Rising Star Startup by Founder Institute for US/Canada (2025); third place winner SVB - StartupOS pitch competition at AfroTech (2023) and in the Harvard Business School New Black Venture Competition (2024), and a finalist in the XTC x CES Pitch Competition (2023) and the USA Women in Payments Unicorn Challenge. A civic leader, Gwyneth served as Chair and Vice Chair of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), which oversees San Francisco's transportation infrastructure and network. Gwyneth has always been involved in civic and philanthropic organizations, receiving numerous awards for her leadership, with recognition from elected leaders and organizations such as Professional Business Women of California, Black Women Organized for Political Action, YMCA of San Francisco, and The San Francisco Business Times.
