Relationship Manager

Are We the Place for You?

The MD|DC Credit Union Association (or the Association) is seeking a dynamic, self-driven professional to serve as its next Relationship Manager. The Association is one of the nation’s leading trade associations dedicated to supporting credit unions and promoting their mission of empowering communities and improving the financial well-being of their members. At the Association, we provide advocacy, education, and resources to help credit unions thrive in an ever-changing and highly competitive financial landscape.

The Association is fully committed to the advancement of its credit union partners. Everything we do is designed to help credit unions grow and succeed. As the trusted partner and fiercest advocate, the Association will work to advance key priorities and connect credit unions to the relationships and resources needed to deliver an exceptional member experience.

The Association boasts a phenomenal workplace culture, where collaboration and fun coexist alongside commitment and execution. It’s a place where people truly enjoy coming to work!

Is This the Career for You?

The Relationship Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the Association, its member credit unions, and vendor partners. This role is critical in fostering strong, productive relationships, ensuring member satisfaction, and driving engagement with our services and programs.

Reporting to the VP of Member Engagement, the Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue generation strategies through the sale of sponsorships, exhibit space, and the promotion of strategic business partnerships. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal skills, client relationship management expertise, and a solutions-focused approach to advance the efforts of credit unions in a competitive marketplace.

As one of the primary points of contact for member institutions and vendor partners, the Relationship Manager should be well-versed in products and services offered through the Association. This position is not a hard-core sales role. The Relationship Manager must possess the ability to “read the room,” offering a more consultative experience for the member institutions of the Association.
