President/CEO
Are We the Place for You?
Natco Credit Union ($155M; Richmond, IN) is seeking our next President/CEO—a dynamic, visionary, and mission-driven leader to guide the credit union forward. With a proud legacy dating back to 1945, Natco has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to improving the financial lives of its members and uplifting the communities it serves across east central Indiana.
As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) with a low-income designation, Natco Credit Union is uniquely positioned to impact underserved communities. Our ideal candidate will have a heart for financial inclusion and an understanding of the barriers faced by individuals in low-to moderate-income households. Through strategic thinking and inspiring leadership, the next President/CEO will strengthen Natco’s legacy of compassion and innovation, while ensuring long-term financial sustainability and growth.
Natco is more than just a financial institution—we are a purpose-driven organization working to “improve communities by serving people, one person at a time.” With a well-established reputation in Wayne County and the surrounding region, Natco takes immense pride in fostering financial well-being through education, empathy, and access.
As a show of our commitment to the communities we serve, Natco Credit Union operates the Natco Community Empowerment Center (or NCEC). The NCEC provides various non-cost programs and services to members of our community. These include providing connections to local immediate need resources/assistance programs, job seeking assistance, money management counseling, financial counseling, training classes/workshops, free tax preparation, IDA accounts, and much more.
Richmond, Indiana, offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a powerful sense of community. With its historic charm, affordable living, and easy access to both Dayton and Indianapolis, Richmond is a wonderful place to work, live, and make a lasting impact. Natco Credit Union is proud to be a community cornerstone—and we're looking for a President/CEO who will embrace and elevate that role.
Is This the Career for You?
The next President/CEO of Natco Credit Union will be an influential, forward-thinking leader who understands how to navigate a complex and evolving financial landscape while staying rooted in purpose. A strong background in lending is essential, as Natco continues to work toward consistent loan growth. Experience with CDFI or community-based lending programs is highly desirable.
You will bring a member-first mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement, helping the credit union deliver value across its membership base. Your ability to identify trends in the market, anticipate economic shifts, and develop strategies will be key to leading the organization through its next chapter.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll be an accessible, visible leader who connects with employees, board members, and community stakeholders alike. At Natco, we believe in lifting others through collaboration, compassion, and accountability. Our team is ready to be inspired and challenged—and they’re looking for a leader who will invest in their development and bring them along on the journey.
Working closely with a dedicated Board of Directors, you will shape and execute strategy, uphold a strong culture, and further our mission of community transformation. If you’re enthusiastic about using financial services as a tool for good, and you’re ready to be effective where it matters most, Natco Credit Union might be the place for you.
