IT Operations Support Technician
We’re looking for two (2) IT Operations Support Technicians to join our team! In this position, you will be at the forefront of delivering outstanding service to the credit unions that we serve, providing resolution for routine and complex issues, and offering technical implementation assistance for our immediate payments product offering.
The ideal candidate for this position is a technically proficient problem-solver with exceptional customer service skills that possesses understanding of payment, financial, and/or banking products with a collaborative mindset, proactive attitude, and keen attention to detail.
While candidates can be based in any state where we have a presence, we prefer individuals in the greater Columbus, Ohio, or Jacksonville, Florida, area where we have a physical office presence. Our work environment is primarily home/virtual with office onsite presence as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes effective relationships with members and internal teams to understand product structures, customer operational processes, and workflows to ensure optimal product delivery.
- Works directly with member credit unions and support staff to resolve immediate payment technical issues.
- Serves as the initial escalation point for internal and external resources for complex immediate payment issues by assessing the situation and initiating appropriate action and then follows up with Level 2 support staff to ensure timely and high-level member satisfaction with problem resolution.
- Works directly with member credit unions to assist with technical implementations. Responsible for the installation, set up and configuration of designated technical products, participates in customer meetings to understand and document business requirements, performs testing, and validation of proper functionality.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of three years of progressive experience in customer service, payment processing, product support, and/or operations
- Familiarity with industry-related technologies and tools such as Rest APIs, JSON, and Postman
- Familiarity with DevOps/software deployment methodologies and tools such as Azure Insights and logging
- General working knowledge of network topology and data flows
- Expertise in troubleshooting technical issues and providing clear explanations to customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical, listening, and organizational skills
- Preferred experience in financial operations and sales
