What You’ll Do

Engage in board meetings, strategic planning sessions, and board development seminars.

Collaborate with Board Members and senior leaders in governance and oversight discussions.

Represent OnPath Credit Union in the community and embody the credit union's mission, vision, and values.

Actively serve on board-level committees.

What We’re Looking For

Committed individuals eager to serve and grow into a future Board Director role.

Willingness to join OnPath Credit Union as a member.

Previous board experience is a plus.

Strategic and forward-thinking individuals, with expertise in one or more of the following domains:

Real Estate Expertise: A strategic leader with executive-level insight into real estate markets, development, and investment trends that drive community wealth and economic growth.

Mergers and Acquisitions: Experience in evaluating the value of joining institutions to fulfill business objectives.

Big Data/Fintech: A forward-thinking leader with strategic insight into digital banking, fintech innovation, and faster payments, for financial institutions.

AI and Financial Technology: Strategic experience with AI-driven financial technologies, process automation, and data analytics, with knowledge of online banking platforms.

Cybersecurity, Risk Management, and Digital Strategy: Expertise in Cybersecurity, Risk Management, and Digital Media Strategy and Communication is highly desired.

Community Engagement and Development: Accomplished leaders who combine strategic business expertise with genuine, active leadership in their communities, demonstrating integrity, service, and impact.

Individuals who live, work, or worship in the New Orleans, Louisiana area.
